Sacratissimum Traditional Catholic Monthly Newsletter

June2026 – "Core Jesu!"

"Praebe, fili mi, cor tuum mihi..." Proverbs 23:26

Dear Friends in Christ,

June brings us into the warmth of summer and the profound riches of the liturgical year following Pentecost. This is traditionally the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a time to contemplate the burning love of Our Lord for humanity. In the Traditional Latin Mass, the feasts of Corpus Christi and the Sacred Heart invite us to adore the Eucharistic King and repair for the coldness of the world toward His Divine Heart.

This newsletter continues to nourish souls devoted to the 1962 Roman Missal, the unchanging Faith, and the spiritual treasures of Holy Mother Church.

Featured Devotion: The Sacred Heart of Jesus

June is dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. This devotion, promoted by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, calls us to reparation, First Friday Communions, and enthronement of the Sacred Heart in our homes.

Act of Consecration: "O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I consecrate and offer to Thee my person and my life..."

Recite the Litany of the Sacred Heart daily and make reparation for offenses against the Eucharist and the Church.

Featured Saint: St. Anthony of Padua (June 13)

The "Hammer of Heretics" and wonder-worker, St. Anthony is a great Franciscan Doctor of the Church. Patron of lost articles and the poor, his sermons and miracles remind us of the power of preaching the Gospel with zeal.

St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us that we may find the lost sheep of Christ.

Reflection on the Eucharist & Sacred Heart

The Traditional Latin Mass, offered ad orientem, beautifully manifests the reality of Christ's Real Presence. Corpus Christi processions with the Blessed Sacrament under a canopy are a powerful witness in our times. The Sacred Heart reveals the source of all graces flowing from the altar.

Greeting: "Praise and adoration to the Most Blessed Sacrament!"

Traditional Practices for the Home

  • Sacred Heart Enthronement: Place an image of the Sacred Heart in a place of honor with candles and flowers. Renew the family consecration monthly.
  • Corpus Christi Procession: Participate in your parish procession or organize a home altar with the Eucharistic theme.
  • June Devotions: Daily prayers to the Sacred Heart, especially the "O Sacred Heart" prayer.
  • Recipe Suggestion: Bake "Sacred Heart Cookies" or a red-themed cake for family celebrations of the feast.

News & Updates from the Traditional World

Devotion to the Sacred Heart remains vibrant among traditional Catholics, with many parishes holding solemn First Friday Masses and processions. The growth of the traditional apostolates continues to draw souls to the fullness of the Faith.

Pray for the restoration of Christendom and the reign of the Social Kingship of Christ.

Prayer Intentions

  • For the promotion of devotion to the Sacred Heart and the Traditional Mass.
  • For priests offering the Latin Mass and for holy vocations.
  • For families, especially fathers, and the sanctification of the home.
  • For the conversion of sinners and reparation for blasphemies against the Sacred Heart.
  • For the souls in Purgatory, particularly those devoted to the Eucharist.

Daily Recommendation: Attend First Friday Masses and pray the Rosary (Glorious or Sorrowful Mysteries as appropriate).

Closing

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus inflame your soul with love during this beautiful month. Live the liturgy faithfully, support your local Traditional Latin Mass community, and spread devotion to the Heart of Our Savior.

"All for Thee, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus!"

May Our Lord bless you and your families abundantly through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
