April 2026 – "Resurrexit!"
"I am the Resurrection and the Life." (Jn 11:25)

Dear Friends in Christ,
Christ is Risen! Alleluia! As we emerge from the sacred mysteries of Holy Week and enter the joyous season of Eastertide in this month of April 2026, we rejoice in the victory of Our Lord over sin and death. In the Traditional Roman Rite (1962 Missal), the Octave of Easter and the following Sundays invite us to live ever more deeply as children of the Resurrection.
This newsletter aims to nourish souls attached to the perennial faith, the Latin Mass, and the rich patrimony of the Church. May St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, and Our Lady of Victory guide us.

The Paschal candle burns brightly at every Traditional Latin Mass during this season.
Attend daily Mass where possible, and observe the joyful abstinence from meat on Fridays outside Lent in Eastertide.
Featured Saint: St. Vincent Ferrer (April 5)
Though Easter takes precedence, St. Vincent Ferrer (1350–1419), the great Dominican preacher and "Angel of the Apocalypse," is commemorated or remembered in the traditional calendar around early April. Known for his fiery sermons calling sinners to repentance, he converted thousands and is patron of builders and those seeking reconciliation.
His life reminds us that true renewal flows from the Resurrection. Invoke him: St. Vincent Ferrer, pray for us that we may preach Christ Crucified and Risen by our lives.

Easter Reflection
The Traditional Latin Mass beautifully expresses the reality of the Resurrection through its unchanging prayers, Gregorian chant, and ad orientem worship—facing the Lord together. In a world of uncertainty, the timeless Rite anchors us in eternal truths.
Paschal Greeting: "Christus Resurrexit! – Vere Resurrexit! Alleluia!"
Devotion of the Month: The Holy Eucharist
April is traditionally dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament. Make a visit to the Tabernacle or attend Benediction. A simple prayer:
"O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine."
Recite the Divine Praises after Benediction. Families are encouraged to enthrone the Sacred Heart and renew consecrations.
Traditional Practices for the Home
Eastertide Joy: Keep the Paschal candle (or a blessed candle) lit at family meals. Sing the Regina Caeli instead of the Angelus.
Rogation Days (around St. Mark's Day, April 25): Processions and prayers for the harvest and against calamities—highly recommended in the old Rite.
Recipe Suggestion
Hot Cross Buns (enjoyed through Easter) or a simple Paschal lamb cake for family celebrations.
