Dear Friends in Christ,

August draws us into the radiant mystery of Our Lady's Assumption and the quiet glory of her Immaculate Heart. In the Traditional Roman Rite, the great feast of 15 August proclaims that the Mother of God was taken body and soul into heavenly glory, the first fruits of the Resurrection. This month, traditionally dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, invites us to contemplate her pure love, her maternal intercession, and her perfect union with the Sacred Heart of her Son.

This newsletter continues to nourish souls devoted to the Traditional Roman Rite , the unchanging Faith, and the spiritual treasures of Holy Mother Church.

Featured Devotion: The Immaculate Heart of Mary

August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This devotion, strongly promoted after the apparitions at Fatima and formally established by Pope Pius XII, calls us to reparation, the First Saturdays, and total consecration to her pure Heart.

Recite daily the Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart and the Litany of the Blessed Virgin. Offer the Five First Saturdays in reparation for offenses against her Heart.

Featured Saint: St. Clare of Assisi (August 12)

The "Little Plant" of St. Francis, St. Clare lived a life of radical poverty, Eucharistic contemplation, and unwavering fidelity. Her famous defense of her convent with the Blessed Sacrament reminds us that true strength flows from adoration and trust in Our Lady.

St. Clare, pray for us that we may love the Eucharist and the Immaculate Heart with the same pure intensity.

Reflection on the Assumption & Immaculate Heart

The Traditional Latin Mass, offered ad orientem, lifts our eyes with the Church to the Woman clothed with the sun. The Assumption is not merely a private privilege of Mary; it is the pledge of our own future glory. Her Immaculate Heart, assumed into heaven, beats still for her children on earth. In an age of confusion, the ancient Rite anchors us in this certain hope.

Traditional Practices for the Home

• Assumption Novena: Begin nine days before 15 August with the traditional prayers and the Ave Maris Stella.
• Immaculate Heart Enthronement: Place an image of the Immaculate Heart in a place of honor; renew the family consecration.
• First Saturdays: Confess, receive Holy Communion, pray five decades of the Rosary, and meditate for fifteen minutes on the Mysteries.
• Recipe Suggestion: Bake a simple white cake or "Assumption Cake" decorated with blue icing and twelve stars in honor of Our Lady.

News & Updates from the Traditional World

Devotion to the Immaculate Heart and the Assumption remains strong among traditional Catholics. Many communities report increased attendance at solemn High Masses and processions on 15 August. The growth of traditional apostolates continues to draw young families and vocations to the fullness of the Faith.
